When I was a little kid I would line up my stuffed animals and read to them. I was the first one to offer my teachers help and happily took out of adoption textbooks home to play school. I always wanted to be a teacher! I learned a lot from the influential teachers who taught me and continued to learn as I majored in Early Childhood Education at Texas Tech University!

As a Rockwall native, I could not wait to get back to the town I love and serve a community of eager elementary students. I continue to grow and learn as an educator. The majority of my career was teaching all content areas in grades 1st-3rd. I most recently taught Reading Language Arts in 4th grade. Currently I support Kindergarten through 6th grade teachers and students with Reading Language Arts and Social Studies curriculum and instruction.
